Products Covered

This policy applies to both products operated by JajaSoft. Where terms differ between the website and the extension, each section calls that out explicitly.

What Data We Collect

Website (JajaSoft.net / FindSpark.net)

• Search queries — keywords you enter in our tools (YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) to generate results.
• Email address — only if you create a free account or request results be sent to your inbox. Never required to use the free tools.
• Usage statistics — number of searches run per session/month, used to enforce free-tier limits and improve the service.
• Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, referrer, and timestamps, retained for security and debugging purposes.

Chrome Extension (YouTube URL Grabber Plus)

• The extension reads YouTube page URLs on youtube.com tabs only, solely to display or copy video URLs.
• No personal data is collected, stored, or transmitted by the extension.
• No browsing history, search history, or any other data is sent to any server.

What We Do NOT Do

• We do not sell user data to advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not use your search queries to build ad profiles.
• The Chrome extension does not send any data to third parties.
• We do not share email addresses with outside parties.

Cookies and Local Storage

• visitor_query_count — a counter stored in your browser's localStorage that tracks how many free searches you have used in the current session. This data never leaves your browser.
• fs_token — an authentication token stored in localStorage when you log in, used to keep you signed in.
• ref_code — a cookie set when you visit via a referral link, used to credit the referrer.
• We use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure aggregate traffic. Google may set its own cookies; see Google's Privacy Policy for details.

How We Use Your Email

Your email address is used for:

• Delivering search results — when you check "Send by email" on a tool page, we email you the results you requested.
• Account management — password resets, subscription confirmations, and service announcements for registered users.
• Search alerts — only if you explicitly subscribe to keyword alerts within a tool.

We do not send unsolicited marketing emails. You may unsubscribe from any email via the link included in every message.

Chrome Extension — Permissions Detail

The YouTube URL Grabber Plus extension (Chrome Web Store ID: dejliemmpgpoiddjnmclnioakcanlkjn) requests the following permissions:

• activeTab / tabs — to read the URL of the currently active YouTube tab when you click the extension icon.
• Host permission: youtube.com — the extension operates only on YouTube.com pages. It does not run on any other website.

Data Retention

• Account data — retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.
• Search logs — anonymized aggregate logs are retained for up to 12 months for analytics. Personally identifiable search logs are retained for up to 30 days then purged.
• Email delivery logs — records of emails sent are retained for up to 90 days.
• Server logs — standard access logs are retained for 30 days for security purposes.
• Browser storage — localStorage data resides in your browser and can be cleared at any time via your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

• Google Analytics (GA4) — aggregate usage analytics. Google Privacy Policy ↗
• YouTube Data API — used to fetch video metadata for search results. No user data is sent to YouTube beyond the search keyword.
• Groq API — used for AI-powered analysis features. Search keywords may be sent to Groq for processing; see Groq's Privacy Policy ↗.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for email communications at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
